Prize Draw winner announced
Thank you

First of all, a big 'thank you' to everyone who visited our stand and took the opportunity to talk to us and find out what we are about. The 2016 Waikato Home and Garden Show was a fantastic opportunity to meet and talk to art and photography enthusiasts alike! Being at the show meant Annie and I were able to take time to talk to people - and find out what interests you, our customers, most about my work.

While the weather outside was truly terrible, we really appreciated the efforts people made to get round all the parking issues and queues. It is not often we get the opportunity to talk with people who are maybe thinking about buying art, who are simply interested, or those who wanted to go into our prize draw.

Prize draw result

Which brings me to the second headline for this article - congratulations go to Elizabeth O'Hagan from Bombay, who won the lovely block-mounted panorama of Mount Karioi in Winter in our prize draw. The winning form was picked from our very full prize draw box at the close of play on Sunday, by our lovely show ambassador, Sarah. The image has been dispatched off to Elizabeth O'Hagan from Bombay, who was delighted with the news as she has 'never won a prize draw before'.

The show was also a great opportunity to get to know people in other areas of the interior design and decorating trade. We are currently working with Nick Shearman from Glass Art NZ, to see if we can offer some of the images in my portfolio printed onto glass as a medium - watch this space.

Nick and the team at Glass Art produce some wonderful products including kitchen and bathroom splashbacks, as well as simply using glass as wall art. We are really keen to see how some of my images look when presented in this way. Keep watching these pages for more information:-)

regards,

Myles
